The museum is located on 2 floors at the side of Whittle hanger at HMS Sultan. We have a number of different collections and artefacts on display.
The Small Plant Room
In the small plant room there are a number of steam powered pumps, turbines and engines used in the past for training. Some items have been sectioned to show the internal workings. There are also a couple of diesel engine units built specifically for training students. All these items have been used for training Marine Engineers in the Royal Navy in the past.
The Gallery
The Gallery houses the main collection of artefacts and records collected over the years from the training establishments for Royal Navy Marine Engineers.
Storage Rooms
The museum also has two storage rooms with 31 filing cabinets and a number of storage racks. They contain records, files and marine engineering periodicals not on public display.
